New Hampshire Rules!
In August we went away to New Hampshire for a week.
We climbed Mt Major and swam in Lake Winnipesaukee.
We are great at Skee Ball, and won a whole bunch of spider rings and finger cuffs.
And ate a fancy dinner in an old library.
But did not find any Presidential candidates.

Philadelphia!
Last weekend we went to Philadelphia with our parents, Caitlin and Aunt Kathy. We stared at King Tut's liver holder, observed the Liberty Bell (yup, still cracked) and rocked out with Elvis Costello!
Melissa liked the headwear.
Joe liked the big heart.
The three Joes watching a pendulum.
Melissa and her new friend at the Betsy Ross House.
Sunday before we left we went to a Cereal bar! We are very bitter we didn't think of it first!
Time got away from us...
Wow! So its been three months! Sorry folks!
A quick recap...
We befriended the Patroons Panda (Joe even danced with him!)
Liz and Gareth got married (YAY!!!)
(a bunch of pictures can be found here.)
Melissa turned 27 surrounded by her girls...
And Joe turned 27 amid a raucus night at Lark Tavern.
Melissa played Kirsten Gillibrand in the LCA Show (dressed as a Dairy Princess)
And we got dressed up to have dinner with the governor.

Libraries and birthdays
The library proposition that Joe campaigned, lobbied, leaf-letted, and knocked on doors for passed with an awesome ratio, so Molly and Paul celebrated with us at the library's congratulatory party last week.
Tuesday we went out to Elda's for Wedny's birthday fun. Here's Andria, the birthday girl and Melissa, waiting for the blizzard to start.

Groundhog's Day Already?
Hello! We've been busy beans, and our Laura would say. The new Gov. has kept Melissa busy, though she is learning the accordion in her spare time. Joe started his new semester and is lobbying away for the library. And here is a lovely shot of Wendy, Laura, Colleen and Melissa waiting for knotworking to rock last weekend.

Happy New Year!
This year, Melissa had to cover the inauguration of Gov. Eliot Spitzer, and Joe wanted to attend. So instead of running away to New York City or go to a crazy concert, we decided to have a few close friends over to celebrate the New Year.
The girls.
And we're back!
Sorry folks! Between the holidays, the inauguration and Blogger changing its system, it has been a while!
