Hudson!

Budget Travel named Hudson one of America's 10 cutest towns. So, when we heard that The Everybody Fields, one of our favorite bands, was playing Hudson Harbor Fest this weekend, we knew we had to head south, and bring Molly and Paul with us.

Upon arriving in Hudson, we couldn't quite figure out how to get to the waterfront, so instead we found this unmarked, unnamed statue.

Melissa and Molly tried to use their detective skills, but came up with nothing.

We decided against cliff diving, and found ourselves at the harbor... with about two hours before our band. So we took the trolly. (Molly and Paul contemplated actually taking it...)

A trolly over train tracks is a little unnerving.

But we enjoyed the trip up Warren Street.

The Hudson Register-Star is located right in town, with this sign hanging on its building. Seemed right.

Further up the street was this strange, empty building, with a photo of a mural being panted, sideways, on top.

We stared at it for a while, but it didn't make much more sense.

Nor did the Museum of the Imagination... which shares a building with an electric supply store.

So we headed back down to the river, in time to see the Luxury Flats, and a barge.

Our favorite band from Tennessee came on just as the sun set.
